Phoenix question 3
For Phoenix Question 3,
i think the answer is quite simple and can be found in treasure So here:
- Factors for a Successful Campfire
a) The most critical success factor for a campfire is identifying the Emcees and ensuring the participants
learn the campfire songs.
b) Appropriate and early invitation of Guest-Of-Honour is a showing a form of polite gesture.
c) Decorations and sitting arrangements are recommended to make the campfire look more presentable.
d) Offering good food and venue is optional, but with the presence of any Guest-Of-Honour or VIPs, it
would be recommended
You can just copy this chunk and send it off (by 10pm on sunday) and hopefully we'll overtake Iota.

Good job everyone, we are finally out of the pit of 3rd place and are in 2nd place, 3 points behind Epsilon. So keep it up. (Pls help sponsor me for the spray paint and the pe t-shirt for our flag) It cost 11.60 in total btw. Anyway, i still think our blogskin is the best even if it is a little old. as Amos said, please look at epsilon's blog (not Iota's) for inspiration and post any ideas . Btw, please try to answer the uni questions so that our platoon can get as many points as possible. as all of us are muggers :p, this should be no problem . Thanks.
--Fintan
P.S. Ill bring the pole for tomorrow and please start writing for the platoon points. Hopefully, we will be able to overtake Epsilon by the time Invictus camp starts. Let's go in as winners!

James here. For Ωmega.
Hi all
I'm James (from 1J) and it's really nice to meet you all. I feel quite honored to be in the Omega platoon. I hope that the S2s will organize stuff like games as a way for us to bond with each other closer. Keep up the good work!

Hi, I am Fintan. Greetings to all. Hoepfully, you will remember my name and the names of my fellow sec 2s (admittedly a bit hard :P) Anyway, I forgot what we are supposed to write on the blog ( although funnily enough, I know what the sec 1s are supposed to do ). Ok, hopefully, sec 1s are settled into secondary school life already. And, as Reeve said, quite slack now, I know. (insider info from my brother) So, relating back to RIRC. Some of you may not be so enthusiastic about RIRC now (i know, Red Cross was my 6th choice btw) but you will soon grow to love it :D. Although I think the seniors now are kind of nicer to us now (compared to last year *shudders*). Hopefully, you are not getting shouted or pumped as much now. Yeah, so that;s all I have for today. Hopefully, we'll be able to meet understand each other better in March Camp (Don't PON and always be ready for a fire drill :DDD)

What you expect of the Sec2? (Vincent Sim)
I expect the Sec 2 to be nice and not frightening and guide us along the journey of red cross.

Fact of the day: How to Calculate Refractive Angle
This will come in useful for Sec 2s when we cover refraction.
The formula (Snell's Law) is as such: n = sin i/sin r
However, when the light travels from the refractive medium with a higher refractive index first, then it should be written as: anw instead of n and the angle of incidence(i) and the angle of refraction (r) should be reversed.
