PWC 3

Challenge 3A (Sec 1s only):
We all want to know how you look like Sec 1s, especially when there's not much interaction between the sec 2s and 3s with you. So the first thing that we can do is to memorize your names, birthdates and faces!

Your Task: Send a Picture!
Due Date: 26 April 2009

Every single sec 1 from each platoon needs to send to editorial.rirc@gmail.com a cool picture of yourselves (must see at least your whole face!) in the format of jpg or gif or png, 186 pixel by 186 pixel. Each email needs to be from your individual emails, so do not help your platoonmate send your photo. This is also for us to know if everyone is helping out in PWC.

In your email, provide answers to the following 3 questions. You can find the answers on the RIRC website. Try searching yourselves rather than asking your batchmates for answers.

1. How many volunteers in RC are there worldwide, according to the RIRC website?
2. What position did we achieve in Arts Festival in 2002?
3. What is the picture on the page "Leadership Program"
4. Give the URL of the picture of a burning solid fuel from the album Menschheit: Nov Camp 09

For every email with your picture and the answers to the 4 questions above, you will earn your platoon 3 points.

Challenge 3B:
Magic is amazing. Especially rope tricks. Something that is quite interesting would be the trick where by one holds one end of the rope, and let the other end levitate in mid air, such that the rope will be parallel to the ground. Still trying to find a picture of it, will post one soon on the editorial. Anyways, since rope is close to our subject Outdoor Activities, lets pose this challenge to you!

Your Task: Horizontal Rope
Due Date: 26 April 2009

If you hold one end of the rope, the other will drop due to gravity. So you see a vertical rope. Now how do you hold one end of the rope and get a Horizontal position? Send you answer in the form of a picture of yourself doing the "magic" to editorial.rirc@gmail.com and include a caption for it. All platoons need to send at least 5 different answers (meaning 5 different pictures). Send more than 5 if you wish. More pictures, more points!

Points are awarded for every picture given, and more points are awarded if each picture contains a different person from the platoon. Send as many pictures as you want.Pictures are to be in .jpg, .png or .gif, not bigger than 800 by 500 pixels.

We have randomly allocated people in charge for this particular challenge, so good luck to everyone, especially the ICs!

For Omega, Zheng Wei will be allocated as IC for PWC3.

Note: ICs must be seen in at least 3 pictures!
