Hi guys, how are you today? Just something random from the Friday ISO Conference-cum-Presentation...
Antibodies in Palm Oil
Palm Oil contains antibodies that can successfully kill Escherichia Coli, so says some boy from ACS[I] (Yes, show some respect for ACS[I]), thus proving that it's useful in handsoap, since human waste contains the bacteria E. Coli.
Now something from an article I read today. (Actually it's from the ISO Conference but I just researched about it)
Plasmon Rulers
These can help in identifying caspase 3 activation in the early stages. Now some scientists are showing a plasmon ruler comprising peptide-linked gold nanoparticle satellites around a core particle to sort of follow cell-signalling pathways in vivo at single-molecule level.
